Campaign Rush

Not only are there campaign ads appearing in racing games, but in case you haven't seen Campaign Rush you can play a click-management game (think Diner Dash/Cake Mania) which takes place in a campaign office. CR was developed by Persuasive Games for CNN International. You can even create an account and choose your party to compete for the best score.

I've seen a number of politically oriented games. Some are rather small flash games like this one: . Another one to note is "President Forever." I played a demo of the game and really enjoyed it. Good political games use the players' passions about real-world politics to engage them. I assume that the "President Forever" game was at least moderately successful because I have seen a 2004 version, a 2008 version, and even "Prime Minister Forever" (both UK and Australia). I think more can be done in this genre or political campaign management. Maybe this is the old SimCity simulation fanatic coming out in me again..

It didn't like my html hyperlink; I meant to say: "this one: http://www.miniclip.com/games/mccain-vs-obama/en/"

I find it very pleasing that video games are being made and focusing on the politcal world. It is interesting to see the shift not only in video games but all forms of entertainment in what they will do to get people out and voting. We need more games liek Campaign Rush to get people excited about politics which will lead to them educating themselves and thus voting properly! Im looking forward to playing this game a little more...

I tried playing this game starting out with the demo but at first I never really got how to play it. After playing for a little bit, I thought that I might have figured it out so I tried playing the actual game and i guess I definately didnt get it. Everytime I clicked for the little guy to move he never moved to the place that I clicked on. I found this game really boring!

This is very interesting...like finally. A game with an intention. They've hit a market that absolutely hasn't even been touched. I've never seen anything like this before until I checked this out. It's absolutely mind blowing to see that games are getting out there and becoming to develop a realistic purpose. I didn't check out the demo but just looking at it, it looks like a rip of Diner Dash but aimed at an older audience.

GO VOTE TOMORROW! The dumbest thing you can do is NOT exercise your voice! Get your voice out there!
